Combine Poetry and Focusing as a Path to nurture our hunger for Human Connection13-03-2021 4:00 pm
I invite you to come and share in the Creative Nurture of your Soul. The Pandemic, your personal health, the death of Loved Ones, the stresses of work. These are just a few of the realities we are dealing with. We live in rural and urban parts of the world. We are of diverse ethnicities and languages, and we range in age from young adult to those well into our ninth decade. Our coming together honours our common humanity.
What will be MIRACULOUS is that we will combine Poetry and Focusing as a Path to nurture our hunger for Human Connection. We will dive deeply into the Poem “The Creation” by the poet and first Executive Director of the NAACP, James Weldon Johnson. We will go into small groups to explore the impact of this Poem on our own creativity. We will make space for you to bring a creation of your own making or choosing (3-5 minutes in length) to share in Breakout Groups.
