Martin will give you the basics to start building awareness about how to keep you protected in the digital world. His usual quote is “what looks complicated for a human it is effortless for a computer. And what’s very complex for a computer, it’s almost a joke for a human.” Apply this to security, and the result is that most of the people are the number one vulnerability of their digital security.
We will discuss:
How emails work and their weaknesses.
How websites work and how a website can know more about you than you think.
How passwords work. What it is and why it is important to have a complex password.
Who are the hackers, what do they want and how they operate.
We will also cover the recent events (Zoom controversy, hackers against research facilities working on the COVID-19 treatment, hospitals, etc.)
In the last 30 minutes of the webinar, there will be a Q&A session.
