Soul Force Education, an initiative of Focusing Initiatives International, is excited to offer a four-session series, on the last Saturday of every month, exploring Public Health, the Environment and Education from a lens of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
This month’s session, the second one in the series, will concentrate on the Environment. It will be moderated by Jonathan Stoll, Soul Force Education co-founder, and will feature two panelists bringing a social justice lens to their work in public health, in addition to Jason Dorsette, Soul Force Education co-founder.
Rev. Dr. Marin Luther King, Jr. wrote ‘We shall match your capacity to inflict suffering by our capacity to endure suffering. We shall meet your physical force with soul force.” This term is rooted in civil non-violence and active resistance against oppression and suffering; it is the internal strength within us, and the courageous practice of resiliency and love which emanates from the center of our spirit.
The remaining session, on Education, will be held on May 29th. Details will be posted as they are available; please check back at CoronaPlaza.LIFE.
While there is no charge for this program, we welcome donations so we can continue this work.
